Title: Bandits Attack Kebbi School, Kill Vice Principal, Abduct Students Date Published: 17 November 2025 Description: Bandits in the early hours of Monday, November 17, launched an attack on the Government Girls Comprehensive Senior Secondary School (GGCSS) in Maga, Danko Wasagu Local Government Area of Kebbi State, resulting in the death of the Vice Principal, Hassan Yakubu Makuku, and the abduction of several students.A resident of Maga, Aliyu Yakubu, confirmed the incident, explaining that the attackers stormed the school around 5 a.m. without encountering resistance.“The entire community is in shock. People are grieving and terrified,” he told Daily Trust.He further revealed that the Vice Principal was killed while attempting to shield students from the attackers.“He was shot while trying to protect the girls from being taken. His death is a huge loss to us all,” he said.The Kebbi State Police Command has not yet issued an official statement regarding the incident.
