May this new chapter bring him continued fulfilment, good health, and the opportunity to keep inspiring generations within and beyond the legal community.”Governor Fubara also congratulated Justice Daniel-Kalio’s family for their steadfast support throughout his illustrious career and announced a ₦50 million donation in support of the book launch.In his remarks, former Vice President Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, who has known Justice Daniel-Kalio since childhood, recalled that they were classmates in primary school. He described the jurist as a deliberate, serious-minded, and forward-thinking individual, noting that although he had once considered a political path, he chose the judiciary and rose to become a Justice of the Court of Appeal.The Chairman of the occasion, Hon. Justice Mary Odili, praised Justice Daniel-Kalio’s professional journey, highlighting his early service at the Rivers State Ministry of Justice and the mastery he displayed in court, whether as an advocate, before peers, or against opposing counsel.In his valedictory speech, Justice Daniel-Kalio emphasized that the judiciary is the fabric that holds the nation together, warning that the destruction of the judiciary would undermine the rule of law. He expressed heartfelt gratitude to Governor Fubara, Prof. Osinbajo, the President of the Court of Appeal, and his fellow judges for their support throughout his career.
