With less than two years to the end of his second term, Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed has approved the appointment of 173 new aides to bolster his administration.
The fresh appointments include 6 Principal Special Assistants, 60 Senior Special Assistants, 38 Special Assistants, and 63 Personal Assistants.
According to a statement by the governor’s media aide, Mukhtar Gidado, the move is aimed at injecting fresh energy and ensuring inclusive, people-centred governance. The appointees, described as seasoned professionals and political figures, were chosen on merit to strengthen key areas like political relations, pensions, and labour.
Governor Mohammed urged them to embrace their roles with dedication, promising a legacy of good governance and sustainable development.
