The closed-door meeting, taking place at INEC\'s headquarters on Zambezi Crescent, Maitama, was reportedly requested by Amb. Damagum to deliberate on what his aide, Nuru Shehu Jos, described as the “lingering issue regarding our great Party at hand.”

While the exact matter under discussion remains undisclosed, the engagement signals the party’s intent to resolve internal conflicts and position itself strategically ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a bold declaration, Shehu Jos affirmed:

“PDP remains the best political party in Nigeria, ready to rescue Nigeria in 2027. We move.”

Political observers view this meeting as a critical step in strengthening the PDP\'s unity and readiness to reclaim power.
