GM To Recall Over 62,000 US Vehicles Over Fire Risk

General Motors (GM) announced the recall of 62,468 vehicles in the U.S. due to an electrical short in the brake pressure switch, which may increase the risk of a fire.

According to Reuters, the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) stated that the defect could lead to a fire whether the vehicle is driving or parked.

The recall affects certain 2019–2024 Chevrolet Silverado models.
