The Nigerian Defence Headquarters has confirmed the death of notorious terrorist hitman, Yellow Danbokkolo, following a gun battle with troops of Operation FASAN YAMA in Eastern Sokoto. According to Defence Media Operations spokesman, Major General Markus Kangye, Danbokkolo sustained fatal gunshot wounds during an intelligence-led operation backed by Hybrid Forces and Air Components.

Feared even more than Bello Turji, Danbokkolo was responsible for several atrocities, including the horrific 2021 burning of travellers in Shinkafi, Zamfara. His reign of terror, fueled by drug abuse, came to an end yesterday, boosting morale among troops now shifting focus to capturing Turji. The military has urged citizens to support ongoing efforts to restore peace nationwide.
