Kwara PDP Disowns Atiku-Linked Coalition, Reaffirms Loyalty to Saraki

The Kwara State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has distanced itself from the newly formed Coalition Movement allegedly linked to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, warning members and supporters not to be misled.

In a statement signed by State Secretary Abdulrahman Abdullahi Kayode, the party reaffirmed its loyalty to Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki and condemned attempts by “stranded and unpopular politicians” to exploit Saraki’s name to gain support for their new political agenda.

The PDP emphasized that Saraki remains a committed party leader and is actively working to reposition the party ahead of the 2027 general elections. Members were urged to reject any invitations from the coalition and remain united under the PDP banner.
