Troops of Operation Hadin Kai, alongside Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) and Hybrid Forces, neutralized eight Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists during a fierce gun battle in Manawaji, Gamboru Ngala LGA, Borno State, at about 5:30 p.m. on June 30, 2025.

The successful operation saw the recovery of weapons and ammunition from the terrorists, with no casualties recorded among Nigerian forces. The Army says the security situation remains calm but fluid.
