Former Minister of Transportation and ex-Governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, has declared that former President Muhammadu Buhari performed better than the current administration of President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking as a guest on Politics Today on Channels Television, Amaechi acknowledged Buhari didn’t achieve all his goals but insisted, “He’s better than the current government by all standards.”

He also criticized the current state of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), claiming it enjoyed more independence under Buhari. “Now, they can’t even register a party because government officials are stopping them,” he alleged.
