In a statement released on Wednesday and signed by the Secretary to the Board, Maj Gen AM Jibril (rtd), the Board confirmed that the portal (https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng) used for recruitment into the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Correctional Service (NCoS), Federal Fire Service (FFS), and Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) will be inaccessible until Monday, July 21, 2025.

“This development will ensure that the portal accommodates the high volume of applications while guaranteeing a smooth, transparent, and fair recruitment process,” the statement read.

The CDCFIB acknowledged the enthusiasm of young Nigerians eager to serve their country and reassured applicants of the Board’s commitment to a credible and inclusive recruitment exercise once the portal resumes operations.

Applicants and the general public are advised to await further updates and continue to monitor the official portal and announcements from the Board.
