…Receives Charismatic Bishops and Ministers Prayer Delegation

The Executive Chairman of Ukwa East Local Government Area, Hon. Chibunna Akara, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to God and declared that the local government remains totally dedicated to divine leadership under his watch.

He made this known while receiving a delegation from the Charismatic Gospel Crusaders Bishops and Ministers Prayer Movement of Nigeria, led by the President, Royal Bishop Dr. Sunnyking Otuka, who paid him a courtesy visit.

Speaking during the visit, Hon. Akara declared, “Ukwa East is totally dedicated to God under my watch because I have the fear of God and it will continue in that path.”

The visit, which combined spiritual upliftment and strategic dialogue, was part of the religious group’s statewide tour themed “Peace Be Still” — a prayer and fasting crusade across all 17 local government areas in Abia State.

Dr. Otuka, in his remarks, praised Hon. Akara for his humility, inclusive leadership style, and unwavering support for the Christian community. He noted that the delegation’s visit to Ukwa East marked a significant stop in their tour, describing it as “a blessing waiting to unfold.”

Following the prayer session, the Chairman expressed appreciation to the group for their visit and spiritual support. He emphasized that his fear of God remains the driving force behind his leadership values, dedication to service, and the overall development of Ukwa East.

Hon. Akara also acknowledged the vital role spiritual leaders play in promoting moral discipline and community unity. He encouraged the ministers to keep interceding for the administration of Governor Alex Otti and pledged his administration’s continuous collaboration with the religious community to foster peace, progress, and sustainable development in the local government.
