The National Secretary of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), and former Minister of Interior, Rauf Aregbesola, on Saturday received the Lagos State executives of the party in a courtesy visit focused on advancing inclusive political leadership and national development.
The delegation, led by the Lagos State Chairman of the ADC, Engr. George Ashiru, met with Aregbesola to deliberate on strategies for building a government that prioritises the welfare and aspirations of the people.
Aregbesola, who also served as Governor of Osun State from 2010 to 2018, described the meeting as a fruitful engagement, emphasizing the party’s commitment to a “people-friendly government and politics that put people at the centre of governance.”
The visit forms part of ongoing consultations by the ADC to strengthen its grassroots presence and refine its vision for a more inclusive and responsive political framework across Nigeria.
