Human rights activist and lawyer, Deji Adeyanju, has criticized the state of infrastructure at the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja, following his attendance at the Seyi Vodi party held there on Saturday.
Adeyanju expressed disappointment over the non-functional air conditioning at the event, questioning the reported ₦5 billion allegedly spent on renovations at the venue.
“I am convinced N5 billion was not put into that place for repairs. At most, N3 billion was spent,” he stated, describing the situation as a “scam.”
His comments via his verified meta handle have sparked renewed scrutiny on public spending and infrastructure accountability in Nigeria.
