The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has announced the reopening of its 2025 recruitment portal on Monday, July 21st, 2025, after a brief suspension.

In a public update issued by the Board, applicants who had previously initiated their applications are advised to revisit the portal and complete the process once it reopens.

The CDCFIB explained that the temporary closure was due to a surge in application traffic, which made it necessary to enhance the system’s capacity to ensure a smooth and fair recruitment process.

“We sincerely apologize for the interruption in the application submission process. Due to the high volume of applications, it was necessary to enhance the system to ensure it can accommodate all applicants, thereby facilitating a seamless, transparent, and equitable recruitment process,” the statement read.

Applicants are to visit the official portal https://recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng from July 21 to resume or complete their submissions.

The Board emphasized that the entire application process is free of charge and warned applicants to beware of fraudsters and unofficial platforms.
