Chairman of the PDP Governors’ Forum and Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, alongside Acting National Chairman Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum, on Tuesday paid a solidarity visit to Hon. Jude Ezenwafor, the PDP’s governorship candidate for Anambra State, who was recently shot by unknown gunmen in Abuja.

The delegation also included Speaker of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Y. Suleiman; Bauchi PDP Chairman, Pharm. Hamza Samaila Burga; and SSA on Strategy and Special Duties, Eric Anyamene.

Governor Mohammed expressed deep concern over the attack, prayed for Ezenwafor’s speedy recovery and reaffirmed the PDP’s unwavering support for his candidacy ahead of the November 2025 election.

Anambra PDP Chairman, Hon. Chidi Chidebe, expressed gratitude for the visit and commended the party’s national leadership for their solidarity, emphasizing that the PDP in Anambra remains strong and united.
