Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has lifted the suspension of 81 government officials, directing them to resume work immediately.

According to a public service announcement issued on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, by Dr. Monday Uzor, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, the affected officials include Commissioners, Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants, and Permanent Secretaries who were suspended on July 28, 2025.

Governor Nwifuru’s directive is seen as a move to restore normalcy and enhance the efficiency of government operations across the state.

The statement urged the reinstated officials to return to their respective offices without delay.
