Speaking during the commissioning ceremony attended by officers, stakeholders, and dignitaries, IGP Egbetokun stated that the initiative underscores his administration’s commitment to making human dignity a central part of national security efforts.

\"No officer should fight for a nation by day and sleep in indignity by night,\" the IGP declared, adding that “this project is not just infrastructure, but a signal of our resolve to align welfare with performance.”

The police chief also thanked the private sector partners and other stakeholders whose contributions ensured timely and quality delivery of the projects. He gave special commendation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his consistent support of the police under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Egbetokun further revealed that the Kano projects are part of a broader, nationwide police transformation blueprint, with similar developments underway in other states.

According to a statement by Force Public Relations Officer, DCP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Nigeria Police Force remains focused on improving officer welfare, viewing it as essential to sustainable public safety and effective policing.

The new facilities are expected to significantly enhance living and working conditions for officers, ultimately translating to improved service delivery to communities across the country.
