The Group Managing Director/CEO of Zenith Bank PLC, Dame Dr. Adaora Umeoji, OON, on Thursday, hosted Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, in grand style, celebrating their fifth consecutive AFROBASKET championship title with a ₦200 million prize cheque.

The reception, held at the bank’s headquarters, was attended by the bank’s Executive Directors — Dr. Henry Oroh, Dr. Adobi Nwapa, Mr. Akin Ogunranti, and Mr. Louis Odom — in a show of corporate solidarity and support for Nigerian sports.

Also present were key stakeholders in Nigerian basketball including Chairman of the National Sports Commission, Mallam Shehu Dikko; NBBF President, Engr. Musa Kida; and Vice President, Mr. Babs Ogunade, alongside several Zenith Bank staff.
