The father of Ukpo Nwamini David, the young man at the centre of Senator Ike Ekweremadu’s alleged UK kidney transplant case, has died after years apart from his son. 

His death was confirmed by David’s sibling, Boniface Nwamini Ukpo, who revealed the family has had no contact with David since the 2022 incident.
