Ibom Air has permanently banned Ms. Comfort Emmanson following a series of violent assaults aboard its Uyo–Lagos flight on August 10, 2025. 

The incident began when she refused to switch off her phone before take-off and escalated on arrival in Lagos, where she attacked crew members, attempted to remove a fire extinguisher and assaulted security personnel.

 She was restrained, handed over to police, and the case reported to the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority.
