President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has recalled Mr. Salihu Abdullahi Dembos as Director-General of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and Mr. Ayo Adewuyi as Executive Director of News.

The directive, announced Tuesday, restores both media executives to the posts they had briefly vacated following management changes at Africa’s largest television network.

Dembos, appointed in October 2023, will now complete his three-year tenure, while Adewuyi, who came on board in 2024, will serve until 2027.

The President’s order nullifies a fresh round of appointments that had named a new director-general, executive director of news, executive director of marketing, and managing director of NTA Enterprises.
