In a statement issued in Port Harcourt, the Chairman of the RIWAMA Board, Mr. Samuel Nwanosike, emphasized that property owners and business operators who fail to clean their surroundings will be sanctioned. He noted that the cost of cleaning neglected premises will be borne by the defaulters.

Mr. Nwanosike further disclosed that movement across the state will be restricted during the period of the exercise, urging residents to fully comply and participate in the cleanup.

The agency reiterated Its commitment to fostering a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable environment for all residents of Rivers State.\r\n
