Presidency Disengages Special Assistant on Digital and Creative Economy, Fegho John Umunubo

The Presidency has announced the disengagement of Fegho John Umunubo from his position as Special Assistant to the President on Digital and Creative Economy (Office of the Vice President).

According to a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations in the Presidency, Abiodun Oladunjoye, Umunubo’s disengagement takes effect immediately.

“Kindly note that he no longer represents this administration in any capacity,” the statement read.

The Presidency further cautioned stakeholders and constituents of the digital and creative economy, both at home and abroad, as well as the general public, against engaging Umunubo in the name of the administration, warning that anyone who does so “does so at his or her own risk.”

The statement concluded by urging all stakeholders in the sector to be guided accordingly.
