The Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) has announced a planned two-hour outage on the New Haven–Nsukka–Otukpo 132kV transmission line.

According to a statement by Ndidi Mbah, General Manager of Public Affairs, the outage will occur on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., to enable maintenance crews to reconnect open jumpers on Tower 117. The jumpers were disconnected following a snapped line incident between Towers 108 and 109.

During the maintenance, customers in the Nsukka axis under Enugu DisCo will experience power supply interruption. TCN assured that bulk electricity supply would be restored immediately after the exercise.
