The wedding of the son of former Minister of Transportation and former Governor of Rivers State, Rt. Hon. Rotimi Amaechi, held in Abuja, drew a high-profile gathering of dignitaries, including Dame Patience Jonathan, wife of former President Goodluck Jonathan.

Her presence was seen as symbolic, rekindling a sense of reconciliation after the strained political ties between Amaechi and the Jonathans during his second tenure as Rivers State governor.

Also in attendance were former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, Abia State Governor Alex Otti, former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, ADC National Chairman Sen.
