PHED Warns of Power Outage in Parts of Port Harcourt

The Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED) has announced that parts of Port Harcourt are currently experiencing a power outage due to a fault at the Port Harcourt Main Transmission Station.

In a statement issued on Thursday, PHED explained that the disruption was caused by a fault on the TI 60MVA line, which has affected several major feeders, including the Rumuodomanya, Abuloma, and Ref 1 33kV feeders.

The company assured customers that the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN) technical team is already working to identify and fix the fault to restore electricity supply as soon as possible.

“We appeal to our esteemed customers to exercise patience as TCN’s technical team is working to rectify the fault and restore power as soon as possible. All inconveniences are regretted,” the statement read.
