Fubara Charges Corps Members to Embrace Skill Acquisition, Self-Reliance

Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has advised the 2025 Batch B, Stream II Corps members deployed to the State to take advantage of the NYSC Skill Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme to build capacity and become self-reliant.

Declaring the orientation course closed on Tuesday, Governor Fubara, represented by the Secretary to the State Government and Chairman of the NYSC Governing Board, Hon. Benibo Anabraba, urged the Corps members to see the service year as a platform to contribute meaningfully to national development.

He encouraged them to take Rivers State as home and uphold the spirit of selfless service, while the State NYSC Coordinator, Mr. Moses Oleghe, called on the Corps members to use the service period to discover their purpose and impact their host communities positively.
