November 28, 2025 has been fixed for judgment in the murder case of Damian Okoligwe, a 400-level Petrochemical Engineering student of the University of Port Harcourt, accused of killing his girlfriend, Justina Otuene, a 300-level Biochemistry student of the same institution.
Justice Chinwe Nsirim set the date after hearing final arguments from both the prosecution and defence.
The case, taken over by the Rivers State Government in early 2024, follows the discovery of Justina’s decomposing body in Damian’s apartment in October 2023.
