The church lamented the continued targeting of Christian communities and recalled previous deadly incidents, including the abduction of 50 worshippers in December 2024 and the kidnapping of four members in October 2025, who remain in captivity.

HEKAN has notified CAN and security agencies, urging urgent action to rescue victims as traumatized families await answers. The church called for prayers, divine intervention, and an end to incessant killings and kidnappings in the region.
