The Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, has approved the appointment of five individuals as Special Advisers in his administration.
The newly appointed Special Advisers are Barrister Eloka Tasie-Amadi, Professor Peter Medee, Barrister Emmanuel Frank Fubara, Hon. Victor Ekaro, and Dr. Darlington Oji.
A statement issued on Thursday by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Information and Communications, Dr. Honour Sirawoo, mni, said the appointees would be formally sworn in on Friday, January 2, 2026.
According to the statement, the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Executive Council Chambers, Government House, Port Harcourt, by 12:00 noon prompt, with the appointees expected to be seated by 11:30 a.m.
The appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the Fubara administration to strengthen governance and enhance service delivery in Rivers State.
