The Deputy Governor of Rivers State, Prof. Ngozi Nma Odu, has formally obtained her membership card of the All Progressives Congress (APC), reaffirming her alignment with the progressive political direction of Governor Siminalayi Fubara.
Prof. Odu completed her registration on Monday at Ward 8, Polling Unit 11, Akabuka Town, in Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of the state. She described the move as a decisive step in support of progressive governance and grassroots political mobilization.
According to the Deputy Governor, her decision reflects a firm commitment to the collective vision of building a stronger Rivers State and a more prosperous Nigeria. She noted that the APC remains the largest and most formidable political party in Africa, providing a platform for national unity, development, and inclusive leadership.
Prof. Odu further expressed confidence in the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, stressing that it represents more than a political slogan but a sustainable movement aimed at transforming the country.
She emphasized that her action was taken in full alignment with the leadership and political direction of Governor Fubara, reiterating her dedication to supporting policies and initiatives that promote good governance and socio-economic development in Rivers State.
The development adds to recent political realignments in the state, as key government officials openly identify with the APC-led progressive agenda at both the state and national levels.
