... Unveils 8.1KM Road Network and Empowers Farmers with Handheld Tillers

The Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) has commissioned its ultra-modern office complex in Calabar, Cross River State. The landmark event, held today, also saw the official inauguration of an 8.137-kilometre road network cutting across Calabar South and the Municipality.

As part of its empowerment and agricultural support initiatives, the Commission also launched Phase 1 of the distribution of handheld tillers to local farmers—aimed at boosting smallholder farming and encouraging mechanized agriculture at the grassroots level.

The NDDC reiterated its commitment to delivering impactful, cost-effective, and legacy-driven projects that improve community well-being and foster sustainable development across the Niger Delta region.
