The president made this bold declaration on Friday during the commissioning of the newly rehabilitated Aguma Palace–Radio Nigeria–New Market Road in Gwagwalada Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The road was reconstructed under the administration of FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike.

Represented by Vice President Kashim Shettima, President Tinubu described the project as a symbol of dignity, safety, and economic opportunity for everyday Nigerians. He emphasized that the rehabilitation of such infrastructure is not merely about roads, but about restoring trust in government.

> “The days of empty promises and abandoned projects are behind us,” the president said. “We are not just building infrastructure; we are building confidence in governance.”
